A HUGE thank you to the CommUNITY for helping us to raise $10520.52 in 2017.

"We could not, if YOU did not!"

We Help Strengthen Our CommUNITY

In 2019, The Louisville Defender presented AMWBBP with an Honor Award Plague at their Community Service Recognition reception. We contributed to the Mayor’s Give-A-Day initiative and The Forgotten Louisville project for the homeless. We supported River City Drum Corp Scholarship Gala; sponsoring one of their college-bound seniors, and also had the distinct honor of meeting our scholarship recipients from Bellarmine University, Kentucky State University, and Eastern Kentucky University.

In addition, we met some amazing youth from the Mayor’s SummerWorks program; which also received one of our grants, and was able to visit an onsite location and observe, firsthand, how that employment opportunity serves to enrich and expand their skillsets. 2019 also marked the largest one-time grant to-date; presented at the November 3rd Benefit Concert, a $2000 donation to the Louisville Urban League’s Sports and Learning Complex. Our health focus concentrated its efforts in support of the Sickle Cell Association of Kentucky (SCAK) and the Kentucky African-Americans Against Cancer (KAAAC).

Thank you for helping us to make an impact!
